Throughout the school year we offer a range of after school Activity Clubs for children in both Key Stage One and Two. Clubs are run by teachers and outside organisations and, in addition, we are fortunate that a number of parents offer their skills to our programme of clubs.
Orchestra: Our School Orchestra is led by Mrs Waters and meets On Tuesday mornings from 8.15am to 8.45am.
Choir: The choir is currently 20 strong and sings in a number of different musical styles. They perform as a solo choir and also together with other musical groups across Oxfordshire, both within the community as well as at larger venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Birmingham Symphony Hall. Choir Club is for children from Year 3 and above.
Guitar: Our Guitar Club is run by one of our musically talented Teaching Assistants - Mrs Currie and is open to children from Years 3 to 6.
The school has held the Active Mark for many years in recognition of a significant level of sporting activity. All children have at least two hours exercise each week from the more traditional school sports such as gymnastics and cross country running, to squash, cricket and even aerobics. Sports clubs run throughout the year and include Football, Mixed Sports, Tennis, Rugby, Rounders and Netball.
Each term we introduce a number of creative and practical clubs these often include activities such as Dance, Art, Languages and ITC.
If you have a particular skill you would like to share with the children, please get in touch with School.
