Year 2
Welcome to Year 2.
Our class is taught by Miss Ogle. We will also be fortunate to have Miss Fernandez supporting us. We are so excited to welcome you back after the Summer holidays and hear all about your adventures.
For the duration of Autumn Term 1 our PE day is on Thursday and we will be outside covering some core Fundamentals (weather permitting!). Therefore please can children come to school wearing their PE kits on this day. Please note that PE days may continue to change every half-term. PE lessons will begin on the second week of term - week commencing 8th of September.
- Homework will be assigned on a Friday and is due in on the following Wednesday. The log-in information that you need will be on the inside cover of your child's reading record. Homework includes EdShed Spellings and Numbots practice.
- Please try and make sure that you read with your child as regularly as possible and record this in their reading record.
- Children should have their reading books and reading records in school every day and please record when you hear your child read in the reading records. Reading books will be changed each Wednesday.
