Inspired to be our best.....
Values for this half term Learned and Wise - how can we show that?
Please do not feel pressure to do so – everyone’s circumstances are different and we know that teaching is a challenge in this situation. It would certainly help to keep the following skills sharp:
* Keep reading for 20-30 minutes a day – either reading to your child or reading with your child
* Some English based activity
* Some Maths (whether on line or just some simple calculations) to keep their Maths brain active
* Ensure daily exercise of at least 30 minutes – enjoy the sunshine!
We have set up folders and blogs on Purple Mash for teachers to be able to give feedback. The following links give instructions on how to do it.
We have also set up a page for families needing to have conversations around bereavement. Please click here for information and advice.
We have added links to websites, whilst we have made every effort to ensure they are appropriate, please make sure you check the site for inappropriate pop ups or advertisements. Please stay with your child while they are on the sites.
Here is an example timetable to help you to structure your child's day
and give you ideas for things to do, please adapt depending on their age ...
