St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Thame

Inspired to be our best.....

A Welcome from the Headteacher

'To provide a broad and balanced education which will help children and young people grow to their full human potential, and pay regard to the formation of the whole person’ (Christ at the Centre)

Welcome to St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.  We are a single form entry primary school situated in the market town of Thame, Oxfordshire, offering a Catholic education for children from the ages of 4 to 11.

At St Joseph’s we are committed to providing the highest quality education, with our children at the heart of all that we do.

We offer a broad and rich curriculum which inspires our children to discover their own unique potential. Our curriculum is designed to equip children with the knowledge and skills they need in order to achieve well and to prepare them for both their future education and the opportunities and responsibilities of later life.

We nurture and develop the whole child so that our young people grow spiritually, academically, socially and emotionally.  Our aim is for them to become independent, resilient individuals with a strong moral compass and a desire to make a positive contribution in life.

Our Christian values provide the framework by which we live and relate to each other, with every individual being valued and respected and every person being both challenged and supported to discover the very best in themselves.

We are blessed with a close relationship with St Joseph’s Parish, a supportive Local Governing Body and an active parents’ association.

We work in close partnership with our parents, as it is in establishing positive communication between home and school that pupils will thrive during their time at St Joseph’s.

If you would like to find out more about our school, please contact the school office where our reception team will be delighted to make arrangements for you to visit.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
