With a background in specialist education and school leadership, he specialises in SEND, positive behaviour support, and meeting the needs of pupils with complex learning profiles. Timmy is passionate about helping pupils with anxiety develop effective self-regulation skills and ensuring every child receives a high-quality education that supports their well-being, confidence, and future opportunities.

In his free time, Timmy enjoys spending time with his family, watching rugby, exercising, and exploring new places with his children.

Fr Michael Puljic

Fr Michael is a Foundation Governor and RE Link Governor.

With a background in my vocation as a priest, I help to ensure the Catholic ethos of St Joseph's School.

As well as my interest in the Catholic faith, I have interests in history, especially Church history, and also science and technology. In my free time, I enjoy reading historical novels, meeting up with friends and family and visiting exhibitions and museums.

Tim Jones

Tim is a parent governor, with a particular focus on inclusion at the school. He works in the Education Department at Buckinghamshire Council, having previously worked with schools in Surrey, Croydon and Southwark. He has over two decades of experience as a school governor, including serving as Chair of Governors at both primary and secondary schools. At present he is a trustee of a multi-academy trust of schools based in Surrey. Tim’s eldest child is in Key Stage Two at St Joseph’s, and his youngest is already looking forward to when they can start attending too!

David Cluett

David Cluett is a Staff Governor.

Teaching the Primary age for 5 years, he also holds an MA in education with a particular specialism in children’s literature. David is passionate about promoting a successful, compassionate and driven culture at St. Joseph’s. In his free time, David enjoys country walks, playing basketball and watching films.

Madeline Ronane

With a background in primary education, she specialised as a science coordinator and later became a Head Teacher of a London Catholic primary school for 15 years. She was also an RE Inspector for a London Diocese.

Madeline is passionate about Special needs education and volunteers for SENDIAS.

In her free time, Madeline enjoys cooking, walking and spending time with friends. She also is an active member of U3A.

Governors:

School governors work with the Headteacher to make sure the school provides a high-quality education and runs effectively.
They focus on strategic leadership rather than day-to-day management. Their key responsibilities include:

  • Setting the school’s vision, aims and policies

  • Holding school leaders to account for pupils’ progress and staff performance

  • Deciding how the school’s budget is spent and ensuring money is used wisely

  • Appointing and dismissing staff, and hearing appeals or grievances

  • Forming policies on the curriculum and collective worship

  • Setting standards for behaviour and discipline

  • Ensuring buildings and resources are safe, welcoming and fit for purpose

  • Admissions and appeal processes

The governing board meets 5 times per year.

Previous Governor Information:

The Local Governing Body was established in September of this year. During the last academic year, St Joseph's had an IEB.

I have a concern / issue /problem. Who do I speak to? What process do I follow?

Every situation is unique, so please don’t hesitate to speak directly with Mrs Sienkiewicz.

I would like to be a governor; what should I do?
