Year 2
Welcome to Year 2.
Our class is taught by Miss Ogle. We will also have Miss Fernandez supporting us in the mornings.
For the duration of Spring Term 1 our PE day is on Wednesday and we will be focus on gymnastics skills this term. Therefore, please can children come to school wearing their PE kits on this day. Please note that PE days may continue to change every half-term.
We will also be taking part in Forest School on Thursday afternoons. Please ensure the children are wearing appropriate clothing on this day - long sleeves, long trousers (tracksuit/leggings), waterproof coat, a change of shoes that are suitable to get muddy (wellies are best). Children should come in wearing their normal school shoes or black trainers. Change of shoes should be in a NAMED carrier bag. All bottoms should be navy or black. Their t-shirt can be white but please be aware they will most probably get muddy.
- Homework will be assigned on a Friday and is due in on the following Wednesday. The log-in information that you need will be on the inside cover of your child's reading record. Homework includes EdShed Spellings and Numbots practice.
- Please try and make sure that you read with your child as regularly as possible and record this in their reading record.
- Children should have their reading books and reading records in school every day, so they can be read with in school. Reading books will be changed each Wednesday.
