Welcome to Herons! Our class teacher is Miss Moore and our teaching assistant is Ms Marshall.
This term, we will be looking at the Rivers, learning how they are formed and exploring the water cycle. The children will locate major rivers around the world, and carry out some fieldwork to observe feature of a local river environment.
Our Guided Reading text this term is An Alien in the Jam Factory.
Our PE day this term is Wednesday. We also have Forest School on a Thursday.
Homework is set on Friday due back in on Wednesdays. Homework can be found on the termly homework grid and online homework can be found on TT Rockstars. There is a copy of the termly homework grid on this page and a paper copy will be given out with homework folders.
Reading: Please try to read with your child daily (either a book from school or home) and write a comment in their reading record each day. Additionally, we ask that that your child brings their reading record to school every day.
Spellings: Please ensure your child is learning their weekly spellings, there is a copy on this page. Spellings will be tested each Friday.
