Welcome to Herons! Our class teacher is Miss Moore and our teaching assistant is Ms Marshall.
In Autumn 2, we will be looking at Ancient Greece, and we will explore the key features of Greek civilisation and identify the main historical periods that shaped it. We will also look at Ancient Greek myths and legends, creating our own characters and narratives.
Our Guided Reading text this term is The Boy at the Back of the Class.
Our PE day this term is Tuesday.
Homework is set on Friday due back in on Wednesdays. Homework can be found on the termly homework grid and online homework can be found on TT Rockstars. There is a copy of the termly homework grid on this page and a paper copy will be given out with homework folders.
Reading: Please try to read with your child daily (either a book from school or home) and write a comment in their reading record each day. Additionally, we ask that that your child brings their reading record to school every day.
Spellings: Please ensure your child is learning their weekly spellings, there is a copy on this page. Spellings will be tested each Friday.
