Welcome to Year 6! We are taught by Mr Cluett.

This term we are exploring the Industrial revolution, explaining its history as well as its impact today.

In English, we will be writing to persuade using basketball teams as our inspiration. We will also be using Joanne Schwartz's text 'Town is by the sea' as a companion piece to our study of the industrial revolution.

Our Maths topics will focus on our understanding of statistics (pie charts, line graphs and the mean average) as well as solving problems that include two unknowns.

In Science, we are learning about diet, drugs and lifestyle choices. This will also stem into our PSHE learning as well our French topic.
