FINANCE / ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

We are looking for someone to join the team in our busy school office.

The person appointed will:

  • be able to effectively manage all financial aspects of the school’s day to day activities
  • have relevant experience in financial management
  • have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, parents and pupils
  • have excellent ICT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, ideally gained in an office environment. Training in the use of our school information management system will be given if required
  • produce accurate work of a high standard
  • be able to use initiative to work independently and also work well as part of a team
  • be flexible and able to cope with the changing demands of the school day
  • understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times

Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo)

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, inspirational and experienced teacher to join our school as our SENCo.  This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop Special Needs provision in our school, ensuring that our children with SEN needs progress well and experience success in their learning.  You will work with the Senior Leadership Team to lead and develop our teaching team and teaching assistants.  You will recognise and value the unique gifts of all our children and you will be passionate in championing our pupils with additional needs.

You will have a sound understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and will either have the National award for Special Needs Coordination or will be supported by the school to achieve it within three years of your appointment.

There is no class teacher commitment with this role.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an inspirational teacher with a deep understanding of how children learn, which they apply to their practice
  • has an understanding of barriers to learning and strategies to overcome them
  • is passionate about forming positive relationships with children, staff and parents
